∙ Rare San Franciso Miners Bank $10. ∙ Pop 5/ 4 finer. ∙ The institution of Wright & Co., exchange brokers located in Portsmouth Square, San Francisco, was known as Miner's Bank. A ten-dollar piece was issued in the autumn of 1849, but hte coins were not readily accepted because they were worth less than face value. Ther firm was dissolved on January 14, 1850.
